WINCHORD (Chords for Windows, 4.2)

WINCHORD is a program developed for the more demanding guitar player who wants to experiment with chords. With Winchord you can construct, identify, play and analyze ANY chord on ANY string instrument with 3 - 7 strings. Special features: chord mirror and inversion; instrument reversal for left-handed players; staff and keyboard presentation; related chords; fingering generator; enharmonic equivalents; limited scale analysis; extensive help; instrument, chord and input file editing. Sound output of all items by PC-speaker or soundcard. A list of 12 instruments and a list of 78 chord base types are included as ASCII files. Bilingual version (English/Dutch). Operating System: all 32-bits Windows systems (95/98/ME/NT/2000). System Requirements: none specifically, but a processor speed of min. 200 MHz is recommended.
